During the online DemoDay, the finalists of the 3rd edition of the MIT Enterprise Forum CEE have been announced. The finalists include Bakuun.com, Goodsleeper, Pioligon, VivaDrive, and Sensoliq. The finalists will be going to a week-long Bootcamp in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The audience award went to Pioligon, the CVC Young Innovator Award went to Planet Heroes while the Alumni Award was received by Sensoliq.

The new Singapore Tourism Accelerator has selected nine travel and hospitality start-ups from around the world as its first cohort. Co-managed by the Singapore Tourism Board and official partner, co-working Found8, the Singapore Tourism Accelerator is located in the headquarters of the Singapore Tourism Board. The nine start-ups that were chosen from over 160 applicants, hail from Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Australia, the UK, and the Netherlands, will spend the next six months testing technologies and solutions that could benefit the tourism sector.

Meet the CEO and Founder of Bakuun.com, Marco Bacchilega as he graced an interview with Startup Eurolatinas. He established the company to help the hotels to increase the revenue by transforming the inventory into new products, creating benefits for the end-user with a new way to book a hotel room, and offering the travel agencies new products to sell.

Bakuun.com works together with travel agencies to provide more product offerings for consumers. Travel agencies generally promote only basic room reservations but most business and leisure customers look for specific products to support their needs. Unfortunately, travel agencies do not always have these types of products for their customers. 

When air traffic increases, thousands of flights experience delays and cancellations, leaving the passengers to miss their connections and wait for their next flight at the airport.
